    Absolutely STUNNING pieces!!! What a tough job that must have been... although none of my paintings were selected, SO MANY of my favorites have been, so I'm extremely happy for them! And you know what they say... "we're all winners in the end!" :)

    Way to go, everyone... this was a group effort, but many, many thanks to Nancy, Jean, and Sandy for setting this up in the first place; to the judges who had probably the toughest job of all; and to the generous sponsors for the many wonderful prizes they've donated!

    I'm already excited for the next challenge! Bring it on!! :D

    Fabulous artwork everyone. BUT; I don't think the best one won. Hope to see better judgement in a next competition, and not only ONE judge for each categories. It's sad to see that the best not even got a 'honorable metions' as you call it. But the most important....it was Americans who won the main categoires....It is NOT a 'International' contest at all.... It is an American.... I now that there was mainly Americans in this competition, but that doesn't mean that it is natural that Americans win.... It seems like you havent even seen trough all artworks at all.... To bad!!

    Thanks everyone for your feedback. Artine, we are sorry you feel that way, but thrilled that Tsvetelin took first place for the Mixed Media category. He is an artist from Bulgaria. Because it was our first year to have the contest, we are hoping more international entries will come in the future. Artine, we sure hope you will join us,, too, and really appreciate your feedback!

    There were other winners from out of the United States.
    And the three judges we had were tops at what they do. Their judging was impeccable...and extremly well done. They worked very hard at the judging. Everyone has different opinions and is entitled to that. But, I feel that thoe who received the awards were well deserved. OF course there are others who also could have had an award, but there were only so many awards to be given.
