Rules for the Challenge
We invited artists to enter the excitement and the artistic adventure of October's autumn season of colors during the month of October 2009. Art works could be representational, impressionistic or abstract. Artists were asked to capture chosen subjects with the media of their choice and all paintings were required to be NEW & ORIGINAL WORKS of ART painted during the month of October, 2009.
Artwork could not be created with the aid of a teacher and could not done in a workshop or be created from someone else's photographs or magazine/book photographs. Artworks were to be totally of the artist's own idea & concept from beginning to completion. Artists could post up to three (3) works. No digital art or computer art was eligible for this competition.
Awards were presented in the following categories and all judges decisions are final.
